Nigel Peake grew up in County Down and currently lives between there and Paris. He studied architecture at Edinburgh University where he received a RIBA Silver Medal Commendation in 2005. He has taught a unit of architecture at EPFL Lausanne for a few years. He has collaborated with Hermés, J’HILL’s Standard, Rapha and Luca Guadagnino. His drawings have been collected in several volumes published by Princeton Architectural Press and Yvon Lambert Paris. In addition, he has made over 50 other artist books, and his art has been exhibited in Paris, Tokyo and New York. He also cycled from Edinburgh to Budapest andonly had one flat tire on the way.
